Jennifer Seif
Executive Director of Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa (FTTSA)

Jennifer, who hails from America, holds qualifications in development economics (Georgetown University), history (Boston University), social anthropology (University of Chicago) and business management (University of South Africa), and has twice been recognized by Ashoka as an expert in non-profit resource mobilization. She is on the board of the Tourism Business Council of South Africa (TBCSA) and Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA).

Ms Seif, who has also worked on the ground on project development in the North West Province of South Africa, was instrumental in developing the criteria, tools and procedures to manage the FTTSA certification system – the first of its kind in the world. She is also well known for securing grant funding and sponsorship support for responsible tourism projects and will be a keen participant at the networking sessions planned over the two day conference.
