Mr Wayne Grews
Managing Director: Group RCI, Africa

Wayne Grews was appointed managing Director for Group RCI Africa effective 1 October 2007.  Wayne joined us from RTT, where he had been a Board Director, responsible for creating and implementing a new consumer and client focused business model across people, systems and processes.

Wayne’s extensive local and international leadership experience in a range of industries see’s him well positioned to lead the Group RCI business into the future and beyond.

Prior to this, Wayne worked for Energizer as part of the company’s Asia, Middle East and Africa team as managing Director and General Manager for South Africa.  After his success in this role, he was promoted to Managing Director for Lighting Products, based at Energizer’s Global Headquarters in the USA from 2001- 2004  where he had the overall responsibility for the development and execution of the North American business strategy and performance targets within the USA and Canada. 

Before Energizer, Wayne was with General Mills (previously Pillsbury South Africa) from 1993 – 1998, where he was Industrial Director then Commercial Director, responsible for overall business results.

Wayne completed his schooling at Pretoria Boys High School and earned a Bachelors of Science (Marketing) in 1984 from Quincy University in the US.
